Recent graduate with a B.A. in Business and a minor in Women Studies in June 2019 with Cum Laude honors. I was Co-President of the Philosophy Club where I get to host at least one philosophy scholar to PSU to lecture on topics such as western influences and the alienation of women in the field. I was the founding President of Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) on campus that fought to lower the tuition hike, arguing for a tuition decrease instead. The philosophy club and YDSA collaborated to host TEDxPortlandStateUniversity: Moving Forward in 2019. A member of Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity and Tau Sigma the honor society for transfer students. Received Dean's List Accreditation multiple semesters.
Received an A.A. Degree in General Studies. A member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Received Dean's and President's list accreditation. Transferred to Portland State University after 1 year.
I studied for two years at Stony Brook University in New York, was active in many clubs and organizations. While there I was a NCWA All American wrestler, Vice President of Programming and Rituals of Alpha Sigma Alpha, a Dreiser Hall council Senator and RHA representative and a general body member of the Environmental Club and the SBU Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance.
I completed the two-semester course focusing on justice and service, receiving a certification. I made Honor roll in Fall of 2014. I was pursuing a double major in Business Administration and Women's Studies. I received Dean's list accreditation at least once.
